In today's world, speaking English is essential but telling a story in English is priceless. As a seasoned English communication coach and storyteller, I'm in a unique position to help you not only develop your language fluency in English but to help you tell the stories that will propel your career to new heights.
Storytelling is a composite skill that allows you to deliver information in the most persuasive format. Unlike charts and figures alone, a story helps others understand an idea in an intuitive, engaging, and memorable way. Wouldn't it be cool if you could that in English?
This program is ideal for professionals that need to connect with audiences as well as for job candidates that want to stand above the rest. It is organized into three evolutions:
PHASE ONE:
My Story
In this evolution, you will learn how to effectively structure and deliver a personal narrative. We will break down the process into basic parts, including generating ideas, crafting sentences and phrases, and piecing together a compelling story. You learn to tell others who you are in a compelling way which is ideal for interview situations.
PHASE THREE:
My Power Story
In the final evolution, you learn how to tell the story of something that is important to you—whether it's a cause, a hobby, or a place— to name a few possibilities. It's often difficult to explain to others in a second language why we enjoy or care about certain things. There is so much we want to say, and we're not sure how to organize it. Sharing something that is meaningful to you is a super skill in social situations where you need to develop a deeper connection with your audience.
PHASE TWO:
My Product Story
This evolution focuses on helping you tell the story of a product, project or service. You will learn how to guide your audience through the challenges of the market and bring them to the exciting conclusion that your product offers the best option. While you do this, your audience will come out knowing your product's features and benefits in a way that engages and inspires them to action.
Long-term Benefit
Going through these three evolutions is a challenging but rewarding experience.
By the end of the program, you will naturally acquire a lot of new language, become more confident, and be ready to tell other stories, beyond the three covered here.
You will also be on your way to mastering the art of conversation in English.
